The Gingerbread House Preschool

Gingerbread House Preschool is a wonderful place for children ages infant to 5 years old! Both of my children attended Gingerbread and graduated preschool! The atmosphere is very family oriented, educational and fun! I would recommend anyone looking for daycare to check Gingerbread House Preschool out!

I cannot say enough good things about this daycare. We were going to a daycare previously and you honestly don’t know until you know. My son loves his class and Miss Karen and Miss Melissa are so warm and welcoming every drop off and pick up. They are on top of it when it comes to communication. Any questions or concerns are instantly answered within minutes. I was really worried about putting my son back in daycare from our previous experience but he is thriving here. He’s communicating so much more even humming the tune of his ABCs. I ask him if he wants to go to school and see his friends and he responds yes. I had to send in some cream from the doctor and they took it very serious a parental signed form and doctors note were required for them to give him the cream. It’s also really nice that I drop my son off directly to his teachers everyday so there is always open communication. Overall just very happy with my experience and the professionalism at this daycare.

The Gingerbread House Preschool is amazing! The staff is warm, caring, and truly invested in the kids’ growth and happiness. The facility is always clean, organized, and filled with fun, educational activities. My child absolutely loves it here, and I feel confident knowing they’re in such a safe and nurturing environment. Highly recommend!

I have a son in the toddler room at Gingerbread House. We have been there since he was an infant. The staff is very caring and attentive to his needs. The place is beautiful! I give them 5 stars.

I can’t say enough about this place! We moved to Cranston, and I switched my kids’ daycare to another center. Unfortunately, my son lost his excitement and love for going to ‘school.’ But after moving them from the ‘bad school’—as my 3-year-old calls it—to Gingerbread, I saw his excitement return after just the first day! My daughter is thriving beautifully as well. Thank you to the Gingerbread staff for loving my babies! Jaxton and Paisley love you all!

Hands down best day care for my child. I wish they would open up in Cumberland as well. Teachers, facility, and the smile on my daughters face when I pick her up makes me feel at ease. You guys deserve a 10-star.

My daughter has been with the The Schoolhouse Preschool. since she was 18 months old. From the toddler room to Pre-K, we’ve had a consistently wonderful experience. The teachers are caring, kind, and thoughtful; they’re amazing models for the person we want our kid to be.

My daughter loves going to school every day (9 months so far). She is very shy with new people. She had amazing teachers during her time in Preschool 1. Thanks to Miss Selena and Miss Miranda she started to talk more and and come out of her shell. She enjoyed the summer and water play a lot. She transitioned into preschool 2 without any problems, and I am sure it was because one of her teachers move up with her. She loves Miss Selena and talks about her all the time, I can’t thank her enough for the potty training help. We are grateful for all the staff that has help her all this time. 💖

My wife and I were initially pretty nervous about having our daughter start going to daycare. Our whole family (and especially our two-year-old) absolutely adore The Schoolhouse. Friendly and caring staff (shoutout to Miss Jasmine!), lots of activities for the kids, and they consistently keep the parents up-to-date through the Brightwheel app. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a daycare!

Both of my children go here and we have had nothing but positive and accommodating experiences. My kids come home happy and excited. I get constant updates on the app that shows what they are being taught, if they had a good day, or a tough day, they never hesitate to answer questions. My son was a little delayed with speech and walking and they were very understanding and his teachers went above and beyond to help. Many of times I’ll notice my daughter’s hair will come undone at the playground of after naps and the director is kind enough to fix it. My son had a little delay with walking and had a tough time sharing when he first went. They worked with him and what a huge difference he is much better, loves his friends, he loves his teachers. My daughter this morning asked if she could bring her teacher a coloring she made because she “loves her.” I feel beyond satisfied that my kids are taken care of. Allison has called my wife personally to give updates to provide accommodations, talk about future plans. My daughter’s talking has exploded since going there as well. I recommend!

This is the best place we could’ve sent our son! He was so loved and well cared for. Ms Morgan the director cares so much for each child and was a caring and integral part of their development and made sure parents felt heard and comfortable. Unfortunately, we moved out of the area and haven’t found anywhere nearly as wonderful as the Schoolhouse Preschool.

I absolutely love The Schoolhouse Preschool and the staff. They are amazing with my son and he loves going to school to learn and play with friends. We love the Schoolhouse! My son has been attending since he was about 6 months old, it’s obviously a nerve wracking experience trusting others with your baby. But I’ve had nothing but great experiences thus far (he’s 2 now!) he learns so much, has made many friends and he loves walking in each day. It’s very reassuring that he never hesitates to go to his teachers. We love seeing all the updates in brightwheel as well. Thank you for all that you do!

I love them! They treat my kids great. My daughter always comes home saying she had a good day. There’s lots of learning and play—this is truly a great place. It’s a relief to leave your child somewhere you know they’re safe and cared for while you work. 10/10 would recommend!
